Malini Saba: A woman like no other

Malini Saba is one of the most generous women today. She has a history of giving. Some of these acts of kindness include the $1 million shillings she gave to start a heart research center for Asians in Mountain View California. She also made donations of over $10 million to Sri Lankan people following the devastating effects of the 2004 Tsunami. Those are not the only generous donations she has made; she established an organization called Global Stree to care for the less privileged women.

 

Malini Saba is the founder and chairman of a company called Saban. This is a company that operates globally. This company has investments in Asia, Pacific and even in the United States of America. Malini Saba invests in the commodity market as it has high risks and thus high possible gains. She invests in technological companies, real estate, and palm oil as well as rice farming. Some of her notable investments are real estate ownership in Australia and India as well as some share in Silicon Valley companies such as PayPal and Sycamore Networks. Malini Saba has remained a humble woman despite being rich. She still takes care of her family and still takes her daughter to school.

 

At the beginning of her career, Malini Saba faced some problems as she received a lot of opposition. Saba and her associates had to work an extra harder to succeed. She immigrated to the United States when she was 19 years old with just $ 200. She married a Stanford student, and she had the privilege of attending lectures for free. She had keen interests in investments, and this would have an impact in her career. On a normal day, Saba wakes up at 5 am in the morning and handles conference calls from Asia as most of her businesses are located there. She then takes her daughter to school at 7 am and get ready for work to handle European and USA office matters. Her days are very busy as she has to handle a lot of emails and telephone calls. Saba is not afraid of taking risks and her worst experience as a business person is having to deal with corruption. Saba has no regrets about her life and advises anyone willing to be successful to believe in themselves and t trust their guts.
